So, let's start by saying what these filters (all, of any brand) DO NOT do. These filters do not remove light pollution. If so, you could photograph the Milky Way from the center of Rome or Milan and obviously this is not possible. Light pollution, when it exists, cannot in any way be removed. So what do these filters do? The street lamps of the cities almost all emit a light on the dark orange that gives an annoying dominant to the landscape and the sky. These filters do nothing but COUNTERBALANCE this dominant with a colder color and as a final result you have photographs with much less pronounced orange dominants and with bluer skies. This is what these filters do and in this case this does it quite well.
