I'm K&F Concept customer since some time. This photographic and video accessories brand produces top professional equipment with cheap prices, but with top notch quality. This time I ordered this carbon slider to use when I travel, I decided to choose 31.5” / 80cm version because fits my travel bags, same bags where I carry my professional video and photography equipment when travel. And decided to choose carbon version because is very light weight, just 1.90 lbs/0,87 Kg. My other professional sliders weight more than 2 Kg. Completely smooth slide, pan on something animated or even rotate the camera for a more dynamic shot. This frictionless premium camera slider makes no noise from 4 precision bearing. Equipped with a twist lock to control tension offers the ability to make very fine adjustments.One thing I found during tests is this a very resistant slider, but you can't use very heavy camera on it with the slider over just one tripod in centre. Easy to solve if you have two tripods, just need to use both two tripods in both end of the slide, there is ¼” and 3/8” holes in both end plates to fix both tripod plates. Then you can use really heavy cameras.I can't be more happy. In attach a small test video and photos I take this afternoon in my garden. All I can say is that I highly recommend this slider, be you a professional or amateur video-maker, or just to use with your mobile phone.Pros :- Very light weight in Carbon version- V-shaped ball bearings causes minimum abrasion and the result is very smooth panning movements with highly professional results.-It has a universal ¼” male threads for a DSLR camera, and both ¼” and 3/8” screw holes on both ends and beneath the slider for tripod mounting.- A bubble level lets you observe your level of slant, and the slider comes with a padded carrying case.- slider comes with rubber feet that prevent your slider from shaking and moving as you shoot your video, while the legs raise your slider 2 inches off the ground.- Included a mount that will hold your smartphone securely for the ones that use smartphone for video- Five threaded holes in fixed plate to mount tripod for horizontal and even 45-degree shooting, you can also use the threaded holes to use articulated harms for other accessories, like a led panel or microphones.- Slider plate with a 1/4"threaded hole to hold most DSLR cameras. Locking knob aside to lock down the slider plate.- a ¼” to 3/8” adapter included to use different kind of video head or tripod head- A very useful bubble level to indicate your slanting degree.- A nice carry bag- Its also possible to use two tripods to support the slider when you need to use very heavy cameras, see photos.Cons :- 80cm version maybe too big for travel in planes, but K&F Concepts have the 60cm version that fits well most photographers or video-makers luggage. If you will buy this slider for travel, first take measures to your luggage before decide for 60 or 80cm.
