Works Brilliantly
Takes eight AA batteries. Recommends NiMh batteries; I used regular alkaline batteries. They work fine. No SD included but I had at 32 mb card available. The camera came with an offer of a free SD card for leaving a review. I'll try getting it so I have a spare. The camera is well built and sturdy, a nice piece of gear. I loaded the batteries and formatted the SD card in the camera as instructed. It comes with a mounting bracket and a mounting strap. It also has standard size screw inserts for a tripod (which is what I used). My wife has been wondering what is noshing on her plants. Now we know: a very large roof rat. We put the camera out last night first the first time. At 3:33 AM the camera took a photo followed by a 20 second video (you can vary the length in setup). There he was! I never expected such brilliant results. It's night vision video, but it's clear as a bell. In daylight it takes very good 1080 color video. This is a great deal for the price. Highly recommended.
