Seems a solid investment for the price
Update: Reached out to Campark Support regarding the existence of an external battery charger, and received a response. Lee has informed me that unfortunately, an external charger does not currently exist for the V40 or the batteries that it uses. Campark has offered to make the situation right, and I'm more than happy with their offering. I would have to say that based on my interaction with their customer service thus far, they stand behind their product and do so ever-so-politely, and with enthusiasm.First thing to notice is the heft of the camera. it feels solid, well built - like it's durable. There were a couple small knicks/blemishes in the casing, but nothing I wouldn't expect for it to pick up along the way anyways.Video quality is about what I'd expect to be for a camera in this price range. While I bought this for use on my road bike, I haven't had a chance to take it on a ride yet. Just from a couple test clips that I've shot, I anticipate the video quality to be well enough to use for personal purposes. The camera does come packaged with quite a few accessories. Some of them are duplicates though, and I do feel that they could probably be replaced by something a bit more useful (a battery charger would be nice). The included underwater case has a nice tight seal on it. The rest of the accessories do feel a bit "flimsy," but seem to work well enough. The lack of an external battery charger is the only complaint I have with this kit - but it's really hard to make that complaint at the price point. Outside of that, this seems like a reasonably priced piece of tech, that will hopefully last several years.
