Had a problem at first. The filter holder, closest slot to the lens, had a large space allowing a lot of light in and of course making the filter application useless. I contacted K&F and they were aware of the problem and asked patience as they were working on a solution. No problem. Within two weeks they sent me their updated filter holder and it now has a soft material that prevents any light entering. Perfect. The filter is a true 8 stop and glass not plastic. Great service, they stand behind their products, great filter, great price. What are you waiting for?

This nd1000 filter is good in terms of its build quality and it also comes with a mount system which is nice. It has little color cast that can be edited later in Lightroom. The mount system is usable but not great enough since it showed light leaking in a few times

Overall this seems like a good product so far. There is a noticeable blue color cast which shifts the white balance around 800 Kelvin toward blue. This color cast should be easily corrected in post while shooting digital. The density of the filter seems to be right at (or close enough to) 10 stops. Sharpness doesn’t seem to be an issue with a 1:1 crop showing no difference to the eye. The filter does seem a bit thin, however, I’m used to cinema filters which can be up to 4mm thick so I’m sure it isn’t an issue. the holder attaches easily and seems secure. Due to reading some reports of the filter holder coming off after it is attached I have made it a point to pull on the filter holder slightly to make sure it is attached securely. The adapter rings seem well made and the filter pouch seems alright but not as good as the Lee versions. Overall for $70 I think this is a hard deal to beat.

K & F were kind enough to send me this product to review. It took a while to arrive, but when it did I was impressed with the quality of the product and the packaging OK what's it for? Instead of a gentle graduated area between the clear and coated areas there is a defined line, making this the ideal filter for sunrises and sunsets, especially where you have a flat horizon or a big sky. I didn't see any noticeable colour shift and it fit well with both my Lee and Siotti filter systems. Came in quality packaging. Adapter rings were in individual bags but don’t see that as a drawback.Hoping the glass is a better choice than resins that scratch...will just need to be careful not to drop them.Needed a 10 stop Nd filter for long exposure and decided after reading reviews to buy this bundle instead of buying a smaller cokin p size to go with and older format Hi-Tech system I have. So glad I did.I LOVE how easy this is to attach to the lens. I need to take more shots...but so far I am not getting any color cast. I shoot raw anyway so it isn’t a deal breaker. I LOVE the glass. Because the set screw was a bit fussy on my Hi-Tech holder, I opted most times not to carry it with me. I would rather fuss with composition and camera settings than fuss with a filter holder. This one will be in my bag from now on for sure. It’s simple to set up in the field.Update 10/12/19. Put this set thru it’s paces on a photo shoot in Hawaii. Professional photographer was impressed with the 10 stop glass. No color cast. Easy to use. Got the 6 stop and 10 stop glass. Highly recommend both. I just need to get a 3stop to complete my set.

Not a very high quality filter system and the filter doesn’t stay tight against the lens. Light leaks through the back of the lens but overall it’s not a bad system and the price isn’t bad. I wish I had spent a little more and got the Lee system which is higher quality.

This is amazing to find a great quality ten stop ND filter for cheap I have not noticed any vignetting or color change because of this filter or any noticeable loss of sharpness will definitely tell my friends to buy it

To be honest I was really hesitant to purchase this, however the price intrigued me enough to give it a try. I have to say this ND Filter is right up there with the best. It comes nicely presented and the case to store it in is great. There have NOT been any weird coloration in. The glass is high quality and easy to clean. Honestly I love this ND Filter.
