For catching small mammals like hedgehogs at close range this is a very good camera. However, there is a weakness in the battery connections which meant that one camera failed after one year, another failed after 8 months, one still going after 10 months but I don't expect it to last. I will not buy these again, or recommend their purchase. Pity because otherwise a good camera.

Easy to setup and straps worked nicely on different mount types.Picture quality is great (see attached)Motion detection is good.I am now using to track cats in the garden so I can mount water spray at strategic points.It would be good to include a 6v power supply though, tried some that I had but keep falling out and don't connect properly

We initially bought another brand / model of camera, but despite trying different settings and batteries could not get it to take any photos or videos after dark. We were not that confident that this camera would be any better, but hoped the given the positive reviews it may be an improvement.We found the GordVe really easy to set up, and have been delighted with the results. It has captured various different animals in our garden, and the sensors seem to be very good capturing both small birds and a large fox.The quality of both the photos and the video is excellent.The camera is well built and very sturdy. Overall really pleased with this and would recommend to anyone interested in a good value for money wildlife camera.
