It is a very good tripod to install cameras or even your smartphone. A holder for the smartphone is included and works very well. We use it for our videos for youtube. Perfect. :-)

Does what I need , using for a spotting scope, does have a habit of lowering itself when you move it, is a bit stiff to move on to an object when going up and down, it will loosen through time.

I like that it is easy to work with and seem to be resistant but it is quiet heavy. I am not sure it will be comfortable in my city tour walk to carry it all the way. But it feels and looks like a profesional one.
