Purchased as a gift for someone who has several Canon AE-! Program lenses they want to use with their Sony NEX 3n camera. Will be manual focus but worth it to them versus buying several hundred dollars worth of new lenses to replace the good quality, functional lenses they already own.Good fit between Sony camera and the lenses for the Canon with this adapter.

Bought this so I could use my old canon lenses with my sony a6500. It works great amd saved me money from having to try and get new versions of my old lenses.

Everything has come as it was described, I'm very happy with how it works and I definitely recommend it to anyone who needs an adapter. I will surely buy all of the adapters for every brand of camera.

It is working fine now movement at the e mount side, but there is some at the Canon side. It is not bad though

Fit and finish is excellent. Works perfectly with Sony A7 and Canon FD and Sigma FD lenses. Problem with a Tamron FD lens though - didn't fit.One star off for no documentation on the "Lock - Open" ring. After some experimentation I figured it out. Turn so that "Open" is at the top, install the FD lens, and you can stop down the aperture manually in real - time. Turn to "Lock" and you will force open the aperture wide open.I'm not a good enough photographer to know why you'd want to "Lock" it, the viewfinder on the A7 meters quite well when you manually stop down.
