I bought this adaptor to use my old Nikon (Nikkor) glass with a Fujifilm X-T1 I purchased expressly for that purpose. The adaptor works perfectly for this purpose. Connection is positive and firm. You may have to wiggle the lens just a bit to get a positive lock but this is true with Nikon bodies as well! I have used the adaptor with F mount and E series lenses and it performs all functions as advertised with the X mount Fuji body. Yes, the camera must be set in manual mode by the switch on the front of the body and in the menu "use without lens" must be set to "yes". It is also possible to use the camera in aperture priority mode with a manual lens. (you pick the f stop and the camera selects a shutter speed.It is so much fun to get the old glass out and shoot manually as in my old film days. While my old Nikon lens with work manually on my Nikon DSLR, the fiddle factor is too great to make it worth while. With a Fuji X-T1 or similar body all the manual controls are right there making using the old wonderful lenses that you paid high dollars for easy to use once again. This adaptor seems comparable to many I've looked at selling at a much higher price.A photo of the X-T1 with a Nikkor 50mm 1.4 pinned on is attached!

Very easy to use. It was really easy to attach my 50mm NIKKOR lens to my Fujifilm XE1. It takes you back to the old school photography doing it all manually. Yes, there's the crop factor because of the size of the sensor, but I knew about this issue and I'm very happy with this ring.

It works but offers limited control of lens aperature. Only 5 steps of aperature control allowed.

Well made product that just works. Great value. I only have Fuji primes so occasionally being able to hook up a Nikon zoom to my X-Pro1 is very useful and cheap. The Nikons are very sharp in this combo. I have found the humble AFS 18-55 particularly shines. You just have to remember to set the aperture on the adaptor dial and manually focus and you’re good to go. Focus peaking on the X-Pro1 helps a lot and gives sharp results. Recommended

Fits Nikon lenses and Fujifilm bodies perfectly, controls aperture on lenses perfectly.Much better than $100 Metabones adapter (which was loose and rattled on Nikon lens end).1/4 the price, better fit an function; what not to love?

Easily one of the best adapters I have. Let's me mount more Nikon glass to my fuji than my old D7000 haha. Everything from old school pre ai lenses, to modern autofocus lenses will mount and function perfectly. Only wish it was a bit cheaper.

Good quality. Snug fit. Tight on the first install but smooth after that. Aperture control works on G and AF-S lens. Good value.
