I was looking for a good solid, sturdy tridod to use with my Nikon P900 camera. I wanted something that was sturdy but could still be portable if needed but I also didn't want to pay over £100. Did loads of research on various models from well known and not so well known manufacturers and then came across this here on Amazon. I looked at all of the reviews here and everyone gave a glowing report of the tripods quality. I live in Malta and unfortunately I was unable to get a delivery here via Amazon otherwise I wold have purchased here. I did go and find it elsewhere for a couple of £ more and was able to arrnage delivery to Malta so bought and it really is as good as the reviews here say it is. I am no professional photographer and haven't owned loads of tripods but from the moment you open the box, this really does just give a feeling of quality. Well made, everything works smoothly and it folds down easily for travel. Not the lightest, but then I bought it to be sturdy, and that is exactly what is feels like it is going to be. There are other models in the range that cater more for travel if thats what you need, and there are models that are a tripod/monopod but I just wanted a good quality, sturdy, easy to use tripod at a reasonable price. Job done!

This tripod is a tremendous choice among other options in the market today. I've broken this down into PRO's and CON's because there are a few nit picky negatives, but I say GET IT!PROS1. Grip - The tripod is easy to adjust and rock solid in any position. Portrait-landscape position changes are easy and instantaneous. Grip is good allowing it to rotate freely.2. Great construction - It is solidly built, but lightweight.3. Adjustable positions - The main legs can be independently adjusted to any angle allowing for almost any configuration you could think of. The center shaft can be promptly raised or lowered in height.4. Carrying bag - The tripod can be put in or taken out of the bag without removing the head. The bag is high quality with a zipper, and comes with an Allen wrench.5. Solid as a rock - stable!6. Comes with an instruction manual which provides a quick overview on the features and how to use them.7. Tall. Over 5ft, which is very nice.CONSNo cons.Overall, this is a great tripod with a vast bang for the buck.

Exactly as advertised & great for what I want. Substantial feel to the tripod and much better than others I have seen. Great value for money. Good weight easy to carry. Love the fact that the ball head swivels 90o so you can use it for portrait as well as landscape photos. Very pleased indeed!

I gave this tripod 4 stars - Deb, my wife, has a Sun-Pak 7500 tripod and I was hoping this k&F would have a camera base attachment size more like her 7500. However, the K&F is much smaller which was a disappointment. It does not measure up to Debs' Sun-Pak 7500 in my opinion. Too bad you cannot buy the 7500 anymore.

I bought this stand for an astronomical telescope since at the entry level, the limiting factor in most telescopes seems to be the entirely replaceable wobbly tripod. Although this is a camera tripod, I had no difficulty at all mounting it to a Celestron Travel Scope 70.I'm 6'6", and this tripod extends to a height comfortable for me in a standing position, and is very stable at that height/ Although it has more weight than the aluminium tripod that came with the telescope, it's not at all inconvenient to move or carry. The leg clasps are initially a little fiddly to adjust but easily understood, and the construction is sound and free from wobble - as you'd want.On a more superficial note it's also a very handsome device in brass-gold and black. It's become a permanent fixture in my living room.

When purchasing a tripod there is always this conflict between light weight and high quality.Everyone wants a top notch heavy duty stable tripod but this comes at the cost of portability and flexibility.BEST OF BOTH WORLDSI’m happy to say I’ve finally found a solution, after a few bad purchases through the years.I do a lot of video work so I end up carrying a lot of equipment around. This tripod is now my go to stand for my DSLR on smaller projects. No point breaking my back carrying around my big rig, as much as I like to have all the options.STURDYI’ve used this tripod several time to hold my DSLR static while doing interviews to get another angle and it’s performed flawlessly everytime. It’s steady even without weighing it via the hook.CLIP LEGSI have forever been plagued by tripods with twist adjustable legs, the bane of my existence. The time you spend unscrewing and tightening those legs is a nightmare, especially when clients are impatient. Luckily this tripod comes with clip legs that are a happy medium between loose and reliable underweight. They have yet to slip on me and are easy to adjust in a pinch. Nb. I received this product free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.LOVE :)I’m totally in love with this tripod now and it’s quickly become my favourite, and what about the price! Really can’t go wrong, pick one up – You won’t regret it!
LIGHT WEIGHT AND STURDY – CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! LIGHT WEIGHT AND STURDY – CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! LIGHT WEIGHT AND STURDY – CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! LIGHT WEIGHT AND STURDY – CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!
