so I needed a filter to protect my sigma 24-105 lens, I wanted a durable filter that wouldn't effect quality or break the bank, this filter was cheap to be honest and I wasn't expecting much for the price, but it does a real good job and doesn't effect the quality of photo taken through it, the build is great and screws on very nicely to the lens, it looks, feels and performs like a filter 4x the price

The important thing with filters is that they don't degrade image quality, and also that they have no colour cast or flaring on final images.As a pro photographer these are more important for me than most, and luckily these work perfectly.

Keeps your front element away from danger and dust; and if it does get marked, these filters are not a fortune to replace

I only use these to protect my front element. Their cheap enough not to worry about damaging them. If it gets damaged, I'll throw it away & get another. Glass appears to be flawless as expected.
