setup was easy. The biggest issues are picture quality and lag time for capturing movement. I’m using it more as a security camera on my 1/4 mile driveway. Typically the image is sent to my phone within a minute or so, sometimes it is 3-4 minutes. I’m going to give it one more week, then I’ll most likely return it.

I installed the camera as a security camera on my property. It is raining out as you can tell by the run off creek. Two deer crossing. The camera is 15ft in a tree and about 30 yards from the path. I plan on retrieving the SD card this weekend and will post the saved pic versus the picture messaged me from the camera. Stay tuned.8/1/2020I added a new picture that was on the card. You can do a side by side comparison from the picture sent via text and the same picture from the SD card.I attached two pictures of the vehicles we were in. I think it works perfectly.

Takes sharp photos and reliably sends via text to my phone. I ended up having to use in time lapse mode as a security camera as I could never get the motion trigger to work at a 20 foot distance.

Works great, texts me pictures to my phone, connects to 4G even when my phone only shows 1 bar.

I have waited almost 10 years to have a TrailCam, so I am very excited. I have not yet used it so I cannot comment yet or rate the camera itself, although it seems promising (although a bit complicated right now!) I am a photographer/ filmmaker living in the countryside now. I primarily want to use the camera for video at night to capture the many varied and wonderful animals that I reside with here. I will be using these images in a film I am making about an artist whose work is filled with the natural world and the human balance within it

The camera will be used for both farm monitoring and as a trail camera. The set up was easy and so was the installation. I will probably get two more so I can cover more
