I wanted to try out the effect without a bank breaking price tag. Haven't tried more expensive brands but this works really well. The image quality remains good and I can see no negative affects of having the filter on. The effect itself is quite strong, especially if you have an image with bright highlights, but that is the point I guess. A good new edition to my kit bag, even if I don't use it all the time.
