This is a very good quality kit. The polarizer is great for water pictures against the sun. I used the ND4 and ND8 for water fall pictures.

This kit offers a range of specialist filters for 58mm lenses which can be used with adapter rings to work with smaller lenses as well. At the price of this product, the buyer gets a lot of product at an excellent price, which may well not be used that often.I have generally used Cokin filter kits in the past, as they provided the maximum flexibility with different size lenses. However, this offers something similar but much less fiddly than the square glass. The filters happily cascade (useful if you want a really strong neutral density filter) and the lens cap fits the filter without problem. This is really useful as I sometimes have problems with my Canons lens cap fitting filters. The lens cap also fits the lens hood but I have used that less often.The bag to store them in is good and I decided to put the filters straight into each pouch without an additional sleeve as they are well protected. The cloth is okay, but nothing special.My only reservation (and I've not marked it down for this review as it is a different option) is that I think you may be better with a bigger diameter than 58mm to support more lenses and then use adapter rings to get to that size.

I bought this set as a present for my mom's DSLR camera. Many of the functions that these filters provide can be achieved by changing the cameras settings, but, using filters is just way more fun. One of the filters that is hard to replicate with just camera settings is the Polarized filter, as far as scenic pictures go, the picture result using the polarized filter is so much more vibrant as the filter cuts glare, makes colors more saturated, and greatly reduces how much haze appears in the picture. I was originally just looking for the polarized filter for her but this kit us just such a great value that I couldn't pass it up. Again filters are FUN and that is what amateur photography is all about!
